Hi

Normally after a CD/DVD medium has been inserted in a drive,
the windows explorer indicates on some delay the present medium
with assosiated icone and medium label.
My win explorer is not doing it. You can push the Refresh option
as long as you wish, the drivce description stays as would no
disk inserted.
NOne of my two drives shows it.
Some details on my configuration which can be problem related:
Win XP SP1
all win, ie, oe patches installed
nero 6.0 full version
nd2500a DVD writer
phillips cd5224 cd writer
sound blaster live value with instand cd

Probably the instand cd software has once done some setting
changes which cause now the mailfunction.
I have disabled and deinstalled it.
But no help.

I have contacted the Sound Blaster support, they could not help
and directed me to the microsoft support.

Do you have some idea ? For all advices thank you in advance.
