Windows explorer default view

When I open Windows Explorer the default view is always my documents. How do
I change the view to my computer instead.

R-click the shortcut to explorer.exe (eg the menu item in All Programs
accessories), properties and set the target line to
C:\WIN95\explorer.exe /e,/select,C:

which will open at the computer level, with C: preselected in the right
pane
