windows explorer crashes

when windows boots up after the login screen, explore crashes. i cant access
the hard drive ect.. this started happening, not after a update or any
downloads. i have posted the error message
error signature
event type inpage error P1:c000009c P2:000000003

c\doc\locals\temp wer019b.dir00\explorer.exe

anyone seen this before? any ideas?
 
Could you have a problem with viruses or spyware? Just a thought.
