windows explorer crash drwtsn.exe error

in windows explorer, when i open folders containing more than for example 10
files especially video files, windows explorer freezes, at first it was a bit
of a pain but now it is a major annoyance. In task manager i 'end process' on
drwtsn.exe and explorer closes, and it happens again, please please help, i
would be most grateful
