Bug
When dragging files into the left pane (treeview), Windows Explorer may not honor the currently highlighted node. It appears that Explorer places the files in the folder (node) currently beneath the cursor rather than the folder that is shown to be selected (highlighted). To repdroduce this bug, drag files into the left pane, highlight a folder, then move the mouse above or below the highlighted node so that the top of the cursor is above or below the highted folder (but not far enough that another node is selected), release the button and the files will be moved to the folder below the cursor rather than the folder that is highlighted
Bug
When navigating the left pane (treeview) with the arrow keys, if a node is expanded using the right arrow key and then the down arrow key is pressed, you will end up at the next sibling node rather than the first child node of the node that is expanding (unless the node is already cached). For example, if you arrow down to a mapped drive, then hit the right arrow to expand the node, followed quickly by a down arrow (expecting to be in the chilren of the selected node) you will end up at the next node that is already in memory
Anoyance
Using a scroll wheel enabled mouse seems much less friendly than previous versions of windows. For example in previous verions with the IntelliMouse software installed, the mouse was "hot-tracked" to the pane that is currently beneath the mouse. So, if you were scrolling with the wheel in the right pane, you could move the mouse to the left pane and immediately start using the scroll wheel to move through the treeview without clicking any buttons. Now, in order to accomplish this, if you want to change to the left pane you must left click in the left pane. What makes it worse is that if you left click anywhere in the pane a new node is selected based on the position of the mouse. A workaround is to click the scroll wheel, which does not select a new node, but if you install the IntelliMouse software, then the scroll button will no longer give focus to the pane
Anoyance
The auto-expand feature of the left pane seems counter-productive in Drag-n-Drop mode, especially when I need to be so exact with the mouse to make sure the files end up where I intend them to go. It would be nice if I could change the delay or disable it alltogether
Any solutions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks...
