Windows Exlorer stops responding

Win Explorer has stopped responding: If I open Windows Exlorer, and use ANY
function (copy, paste, move, or transfer flies) it stops responding, I have
to close it and re-open it, and do as much as I can before it basically just
locks up!

This just started recently, perhaps after the security update before the
last one, I am realy not sure 100%.

I have seen the many posts regarding isues with IE7, and HP web share
utilities, but I doubt HP web share is even on my machine; my other PC' do
not have this issue, and all have the latest NS uodates.Angerin

Please state the which security update(KBXXXXX) you installed which has
caused the problem

Lets see :

KB941202
KB933729
KB943460

The first two were installed on 10/10/07
The last was 11/14/2007

I would have to say this started in October so it started happening after
the 1st. or 2nd update(s) listed.

It has also effected the ability to open another program, (any) which you
would "save a file to" , anoher part of the Explorer shell to not respond as
well. example) Download a file and save to dialouge; if you browse to a
folder and try to create a new folder this dialogs box locks up.

I've has KB94360 installed and I've got no problems with that update. I did
not have KB941202 and KB933729. It is possible that the updates KB941202 and
KB933729 is causing the problems. You can try searching Microsoft's website
if they have discovered problems with the updates.
