I HAVE AN ERROR MESSAGE THAT SAY'S:
LOAD NEEDED DLL'S FOR KERNAL

What must i do about this.

Hi, J.

Perhaps you need to run the System File Checker. At the Run prompt, type:
sfc /scannow

SFC will compare your WinXP operating system files to the "known good"
copies held in your on-disk cache and replace any missing or damaged ones.
Have your WinXP CD-ROM handy; SFC probably will need to see it.

If that doesn't fix it, post back with enough detail so that we can help
you. Remember, we can't see your computer, so all we know is what is in
your message.

At what point do you see the message? During boot-up? While running Word?
Or some other application? While trying to shut down? I can think of an
endless string of such questions, but it would be better if you just tell us
what leads up to this error message.
