I suspect that the actual error you are getting is
KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR

Go to MVP Jim Eshelman's STOP errors web page at
http://www.aumha.org/win5/kbestop.htm and click on the "7A: Kernel
Data Inpage" link in the left side column.
