windows easy transfer

I'm probably missing something easy, but on my new computer, it is only
letting me transfer files to my D: drive (which is my recovery drive) and not
my main C: Is there an option somewhere where I can change this?

Problem with this is that it says

" 8. Click Yes, I'll transfer files and settings over the network.
9. Type a path and a folder name in which you want to store the Windows Easy
Transfer wizard files, and then click Next."

Where actually after step 8 it takes me to a screen asking if I have a key
or need one, and if I need one it gives me one to put into my old computer,
and when I do this on the old computer it starts the transfer. If I say I
have a key, which I got off the old computer, then I come to the new computer
and put it in...only to have the trasnfer start. Never do I see anywhere
where I can enter the location I want the files to be saved at.
