Windows Easy Transfer errors out - not enough disk space?

Guest

I am trying to run the Windows Easy Transfer wizard on a couple of computers
in order to upgrade to RTM code. I am trying to back my files and settings
up to an external 500GB hard drive. Every time I try the wizard, it errors
our and tells me there isn’t enough disk space. I am only transferring 15GB
to 40GB of content to a drive with 465GB of free disk space. Any ideas?

External hard drives are often formatted using the FAT32 file system which
allows only a maximum file size of 4gb. Since you're transferring 15gb of
content minimum the transfer file will be too large for a FAT32 drive.
