Windows E-mail

Hey, I´m swedish and in our language we use å ä and ö. You know where you
write the subject in a mail, these letters dissapears there. The rest of the
mail is quite ok. This started when I have installed AVG free version. Can
anyone understand what has happened?

Tools, Options, Send, International Settings, uncheck "When replying to
message always use English headers".

Thank you, I think I would find the solution where you showed me, but my
English is not good enough, so I dare not to try. I wish I could read it in
swedish. It has to do with the avg antivirusprogram hasn´t it?

Probably, I haven´t tried that yet, but I guess I´ll have to. Thank you
anyway for answering my question.

Thank you, I tried this, but it didn´t help. I thought so too before but all
this with å ä and ö, started after installing AVG antivirus for free. Could
it have something to do with that? What do you think?

The only way to know for sure is to do a temporary uninstall of
your AVG antivirus.
When you reinstall AVG, be sure to select 'custom' install, which then
allows you to unselect installing its troublesome email scanning module.

While AVG is uninstalled, try Windows Mail again, just to verify that
the culprit has been found.

I opened my antivirus Avg free and disabled the email-scanner and then it
worked again with the å ä and ö. But isn´t it a risk to disable the
email-scanner. I mean to get virus in incoming mail?

No!

So long as you do not open any attachments from senders "known or unknown",
directly from WM.

Always save the attachment to disc, right click, scan with AVG.
