Windows - Device Timeout

Jack

Suddenly, the small window popped up on my screen:
Title:
Windows - Device Timeout
Body:
The specified I/O operation on \Device\Harddisk5\DR11 was not completed
before the time-out period expired.

and there are 3 buttons to choose from:
Cancel, Try Again and Continue

I do have 2 hardrives connected in my computer:
One is internal and it is partitioned C: and D
Second one is external USB drive and partitioned into 3 parts: K, L and M
So there are 5 hardrives from I/O point of view.
The problem I see is I have not accessed M partition (which I believe is 5th
hardisk mentioned in that message) for at least 6 months!!!!
Questions:
1.
Is that part of normal Windows operation or should I suspect some
mischievous virus (spyware)?
I have Norton AntiVirus 2005 running in my computer.
2.
What is DR11?
Search did not find any files in my computer with that name!

Please help me to solve that mystery!
Jack
