Windows Device Manager Question

J

Jim

There is a question mark in my Device Managers "Other Devices"

If you open the folder, it displays a question mark at each of the following
items:
Other PCI Bridge Device
PCI Memory Controller
SM Bus Controller

How do I resolve this situation?

TIA

A green question mark "?" in Device Manager means that a compatible driver
for this device is installed, indicating the possibility that all of the
functionality may not be available.

By reinstalling your mobo chipset drivers from mobo site or OEM site if the
likes of Dell/HP or a Laptop.
In future dont use winupdate for drivers

When you view device information in Device Manager, you may see a device
listed as Unknown Device next to a yellow question mark.
