Have IE6, Windows 2000 SP4

Tried to use the Active Desktop and now my desktop itself is much larger and I can not see or get to all of it. Only way I found out was by PrtScr and pasted the image.... it's twice it's normal size with or without active desktop on.

Can Active Desktop be used?
How can I fix the size issue?

Start
Settings
Control Panel
Display
settings tab
slide the resolution over to the right
and say OK
Do it without restarting
When it changes click the OK

Don, I certainly appreciate your response and assistance. I wish it would have been that easy. Followed your suggestion to the letter with no correction. I think I need to clarify my problem better and the best way to do this may be to provide you with this snap shot of my desk top. This URL is to a PIC of my desktop with additional details

Don, you seem like the Pro… have another suggestion? Please!!! <grin> All kidding aside, if you do or if anyone does, please drop in your thoughts.

Thank you again!!

Click on the icon for display #1 and un-check the option to "extend
desktop...".
You should be able to see entire desktop on the working monitor (display #2)

You are set up for dual monitor, right?
Do you have 2 monitors attached to the system?
