windows delayed write failure

i get this message daily when browsing the internet:

windows-delayed write failed
unable to save all the data for file C:/...the data has been lost. this
erros maybe caused by a failuer of your computer hardrive or network
connection...

when this happens my laptop hardrive loads for a long time, causing my
laptop to freeze while it's trying to do what it does... i also experience
this--where my pc seems to be struggling to load some data, but the delayed
write failure msg doesn't appear.

i thought this had to do with my web browser, but no--with firefox and opera
my computer simply crashed, but after reformatting my hardrive, and only
using IE, the problem occurs without crash.

Shola,

Here's where Googling would help.

I doubt that it's a network problem, anyway.

thanks chuck, but why is my error an event 51 and not 50? do i proceed
differently than the troubleshoot in the 2nd link you gave me? also my drive
is ntfs formatted. if i have to reformat my drive, should i keep it to fat32
to avoid this current problem?

thanks
