i am unable to get the exact fix for the same problem
please let me know how can i overcome this error

error is

Windows - Delayed Write Failed

Windows was unable to save all the data for the file
\Device\Harddisk1\DP(1)0-0+e\rename1GBFile. bin.The data
has been lost. This error may be caused by a failure of
your computer hardware or network connection. Please try
to save the file elsewhere.

Hi,

I've observed this and found that it usually indicates some form of
corruption that could be anything from a lost file fragment to imminent
hardware failure.

Disk check does not work through the GUI and I am as I type trying to run
the command line version which I can't tell if it has hung or not on stp 4 of
5.

The command line used is as follows

chkdsk [drive:] /f /v /r /x
/f = forced
/v = gives volume/file information depending on the drive format type
/r = recover
/x = unmount the drive if necessary (it might be best not to use this one,
don't know).
