Windows defender2 and zip drives

just thought I'd post as general info. when running complete scan on w2k the
program pops up with no media in drive for my zip drive and would not cancel
or continue or close until I put in a disk and picked on continue.

I think this issue is probably not specific to zip drives, but it does seem
to be specific to Windows 2000. There are a number of posts relating this
behavior with a floppy drive, and I've seen it myself--all of them, by
recollection, are on Windows 2000.
