Windows Defender vs. Windows Live OneCare

While installing WD version 1592, I get a message "Microsoft Windows OneCare
Live has been found. Please remove that product and rerun the setup." Is WD
not compatible with WLOC? Or only one is acceptable? In fact, the WLOC
version 1.5 is running in my computer. Give me explanation please.

If WOC 1.5 is the new beta One Care, international version, then Defender
cannot be installed. The new WOC containes the spyware scanner within itself
as well as the antivirus scanner, so Defender is redundant. I am still using
the original version of WOC and Defender remains separate it it, but not in
the newest WOC.
