zen.conundrum
Hi -
Here's my problem - I schedule a Windows Defender Quick Scan to run
every Wednesday at 12:00 PM, and 12:00 comes and it does not run. It
doesn't give any error messages or anything it just does not run. I've
tried changing the days, times that it ran, and it still doesn't run.
The box that says "Scan Now" is grayed out, but you are able to click
on the scan button on the main toolbar and perform a scan.
Here's some info on our current setup:
Netware 6.0 Environment.
We are rolling out 70 new identical XP Pro SP2 PCs to our users. The
PCs were imaged using ZENWorks 6.5. The CORE image was taken from an
identical (hardware & software) PC - then the image was pushed out via
the ZEN imaging server to the 69 other PCs we are rolling out. We have
also setup these users with only USER rights - that's how we would like
it to stay if possible. We have also applied the compatws.inf security
template for a legacy app (unfortunately) via Local Policy and then
pushed it out with ZEN desktop management. Windows Defender definitions
are updated using WSUS, which works just fine. Any help would be much
appreciated.
Thanks,
Brad
