Windows Defender Final version

Hi,

I downloaded the final version of WD and when I wanted to install it, it
displays a window with three options with the first one being recommended.
When you read it carefully, it says that:

Use recommended settings
"Automatically remove software with severe alert levels....."

On the WD website, the installation help gives a complete different option

and I'll appreciate any help.

Thanks--I had not noticed that difference myself--and I can't immediately
replicate your experience. When I get home, I'll uninstall and reinstall
and see how that box reads. None of these choices is set in stone--you can
always go into tools and change either the default actions or the spynet
membership level--this box at install time simply allows you to make a quick
choice.
