Automatic failed again, had to use Resolution to remove old 1410. After
removal it updated ok to 1436, using About in Windows Defender and Check For
Updates. Will wait for next week update and see if Microsoft fixes the issue
by then.

Definition 1436 updated automatically, WOW!. Four in a row. However I won't

I had the MS updates available notice this morning and the update was
for WD. Alas, the endless loop begin...install...update
available...install....

I did the Msiexec /x {A5CC2A09-E9D3-49EC-923D-03874BBD4C2C} trick and
the install seemed to work OK but! The update notice went away but the
signature was still 1.14.1410.10 so I tried a manual update which
finally did the trick.

Just when I thought WD starting to work )-;

Are you running the latest build which we refreshed a few weeks ago? If you
are not running build 1343 (help-> about), can you go out to
http://www.microsoft.com/spyware and download the latest one? We have not
turned on automatic updates from beta 2 to beta 2 refresh as of yet.
