Windows could not start - file is missing or corrupt: system32\drivers\pci.sys

I've upgraded my motherboard and other hardware. When I
start the computer, I get the error message: Windows
could not start because the file is missing or corrupt:
system32\drivers\pci.sys It says, "You can attempt to
repair this file by running Windows Setup using the
original setup CD-ROM. Select 'r' at the first screen to
start repair." I do that. What do I do after that?
