windows configure popup for new installed programs.

Tried loading 2 new programs, one being Microsoft Student. What happens is
that after install everything seems ok until I try to use the program, then a
popup comes up for windows that says "please wait while windows configures
this program." This continues on and on even though the program has been
fully installed.

Rick,

Tried all your suggestions. Turned off antivirus, ect. But after loading
MS Student(test application) and starting the program The same message pops
up. "Please wait will window configures microsoft student". This continues
over and over again. When I hit cancel, the same message pops up at least 7
times before it stops. Help........

Yes, but not sure if I should delete all programs or just one at a time.
