I use the Classic Start Menu. New problemafter three years of use

Every day or two the Classic Start/ Programs menu will truncate to hide
programs not recently used; doesn't remove them, just truncates the popup
boxes. All I have to do is click on the double arrow symbol and they hidden
programs show on the popup but I'd prefer to keep them all on the popup menus
at all times.

Have XP Pro with all updates and have used this menu style for three years
on a previous computer that did not exhibit this behavior. Recently got a
new computer with XP installed and it did not exhibit the behavior. Then the
Hard Drive failed and Dell sent me a new one with all updates installed. The
new hard drive has been installed for two weeks and the truncation of popup
boxes on the Start Menu has been constant.

I have tried everything I can think of, have searched the knowledge base and
searched Start Menu on this board to no avail.

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

that function is called personalized menus...

have you unchecked the option here that I have encircled with RED? see

No, I have two accounts (one User, one Administrator) on the machine and
different menus for each. I had, on the previous computer, checked that box
so I also checked it on the new one. Different behavior...

I'll uncheck and see if that does the job.
