Windows Clean Reinstallation ERRORS - Please advise

Hi,

Whenever I reinstall a clean copy of windows, i always get an error while
copying setup files to the hard disk. It says something along the lines of
"the following file is an invalid Windows image file" or something. This
often happens with the file mshtml.dll or something.

I have a feeling there's a problem with the hard disk.

This has been happening for the past few months, but didn't happen before
then.

What can be the problem?

Could also be a defective CD. If possible, try on another computer to
find it out.
