CaN ANYBODY HELP

P

Peter.

Hi i have already checked out 810886, the article refers
to changing/checkin 2 keys MaxCmds on the client and/or
MaxMpxCt on the server, none of my machines have any of
these keys. I am also unsure what the article talks
about when it mentions SMB Server.

Many thanks for your help.
Peter.

If you don't have these registry keys, it means that your system
is using the default values (50 on W2K). You simply have to add
the keys and enter a higher value.

232476 - Terminal Server Client Connections and Logon Limited by
MaxWorkItem and MaxMpxCt Values
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=232476

documents this and suggests how to modify the values on a W2K
Terminal Server.
