windows booting problem

I have installed a new motherboard, and am attempting to reinstall windows
xp, when I boot from the disk I make it to the menu to setup windows xp now,
press enter etc. but my problem is my keyboard wo'nt work, it's usb any
suggestions

Have you set the new motherboard's BIOS to enable Legacy USB Support,
so that it can use the USB keyboard?
