How come "Prairie Wind, Soap Bubbles, Santa Fe Stucco," etc properties dialog
boxes have "created on December 21, 2002 and modified on August 29, 2002?"
How can they be modified before they're created? I used another computer with
Windows XP, and the properties dialog boxes had the same date created on and
modified on August 4, 2004. Please explain.

This can be one reason:
Say you created a file on 10 Sep 2004, then changed your system clock to 5 Aug 2004 and then modify the file. Then the Created date will be 10 Sep and the modified date will be 5 Aug

The creation date is the date a file was created on a particular drive (or
in an image).
The modification date is the date the file was last changed (ie changed in
terms of internal content).

Since you can copy a file to a new drive (creation date = date you copy it
over) after the date a file was last modified , a creation date can be later
than a modification date.
