Has anyone expereienced the following issue and have they
discovered a solution.
I've recently converted to Broadband and took the
precaution to upgrade the security on the PC to include
Norton Internet Security, providing a firewall and Anti
Virus.
Since moving over to broadband I have discovered that my
windows Automatic Updates are not downloading. I've
checked through all the options and they are all enabled,
I've attempted to ensure that the programs required are
not blocked by the firewall but without a lot of luck.
The update site works fine manually if I go an check it
every week, but I would like the automatic facility back.
If anyone has experienced this and knows how to solve the
problem please put me out of my misery. Incidentally if
you know how the process is even triggered to go out and
check whether an update is required I'd be grateful.
