Windows Auto System Recovery Disk

Attempting to create recovery disk. Backed up computer using the back up and
restore wizard from system tools. Cannot locate the Asr.sif and Asrpnp.sif
files the wizard asks for. Searched the hard drive, but no joy. Thanks
 
ASR is a feature of Windows XP Professional. If you have that version of
Windows, open the Help and Support Center and look for the article entitled:
To create an Automated System Recovery set using Backup

Hi Ted: Thanks for the response. At first I stated your post was of no help.
After the third attempt the wizard worked. Thanks again
 
I forgot to attach my floppy disk to my Dell D410 during backup.
Consequently, it did not create an ASR disk. Can I retrieve this information
anywhere else and manually create the disk? I remember this was an option in
older Window versions.
