Hello people.
What are Windows ASPI drivers ? What are those for? Do I need them to
install in my PC?

Thanks.

ASPI stands for Advanced SCSI Programming Interface. Originally
developed by Adaptec. It is a software layer that enables programs to
communicate with SCSI (and ATAPI) devices.

If you want to use Adaptec products like Nero then you need it.

Nero's ASPI driver from Ahead Software.
For Windows NT4, Windows 2000 and Windows XP:
Download ftp://ftp.nero.com/tools/wnaspi32.dll. Copy wnaspi32.dll to the
%windir%\System32 folder or to your application directory (no need for
reboot).

More info can be found on Nero's download page.
