windows and internet explorer glitch

In one and only one of the users on this machine, windows explorer and
internet explorer say they have encountered a problem and must close. Window
explorer will have this error message on only a couple of desktop icons. I
can move the error messages out of the way and continue working but would
like to resolve this issue. I have run all the spyware and adware programs,
run antivirus, run sfc /scannow, defrag, system restore and am now out of
ideas.....

"Just a suggestion". If it's just one of a few user on that workstation
that's having that problem you might want to try deleteing there profile and
recreating a new profile copying it from a users profile that works correctly

no, this is not a limited account and I yhave run all those programs within it.

I tried to set up a new profile and I got the same error message. However, I
did get the following data----files with problems areas follows
C:\Docume~1\Walden\LOCALS~!\Temp\WER929b.dir00\explorer.exe.mdmp
C:\Docume~1\Walden\LOCALS~1|Temp\WER929b.dir00\appcompat.txt
The error signature:
szAppName: explorer.exe szAppVer: 6.0.2900.2180

offset: 00000000

What does this mean?
