Did you download Windows 98 SE from a site on the Internet, or did you
install it from a CD?

Microsoft doesn't make Windows 98 SE available for download , and I
don't think that they've authorized anyone else to do it. I'd be
suspicious of any such download and wouldn't install or use it. It
could contain viruses and other nasty surprises.

Please post any reply as a follow-up message in the news group
for everyone to see. I'm sorry, but I don't answer questions
addressed directly to me in E-mail or news groups.

It would appear that everything appearing on a person's computer is
downloaded.. there must be a website with 'buzzword' of the month featured..
just guessing that the present word is 'download'.. :)
