Windows 98 and XP

Is it true that windows 98 will not connect to anything higer then windows 2000?
like for file shareing? Is it possible to go around this so it will work?

There's no problem. Windows 98 can connect and share files with all
recent versions of Windows.

nate , you can file share and print share on 98 and
windows xp. just set up the network frist on the xp,
through the network wizard, and make a network setup disk
when prompted, to run in windows 98.

I have win xp pro it does everything you want in terms of access to win 98
However Iam still unable to access xp from 98 all i get is incorrect
password I have tried just about every permutation I have been able to find
If someone can point me to a foolproof idiots guide I would very much
appreciate it

If you just want a simple connection use NETBEUI.
