Windows 2K Prof PC disconnects from network by itself

Hi all
Hopefully some one can help me, cauz i am at wits end.
This is a P3 750, 128MB ram, 10GB HD, Win2K Prof,
Office2K, Accton 10/100 NIC, DHCP, Service Pack 4. When
you logon to the 2K Acrive Dir domain, you check the
packets (sent and received), and it is ok, you browse the
network or internet or e-mail, and it freezes. You check
the packets again and it shows 0 sent, but alot received.
I have tried a different network point, NIC, cables,
switch. I have formatted the PC and reloaded,tried with
service pack 2, 3, 4 but to no avail.
Pls help, it will greatly be appreciated

If you reboot into SafeMode with Networking, do you see the same issue?

(When it restart his F8) and choose Safe Mode with Network option.
