Networking in Win XP - Data Transfer Problem

I am using Win XP prof in 4 machines with peer to peer
networking. Often times data packets are sent but not
received. NIC card has the Realtek 8139 chipset. Have
changed the card and done basic troubleshooting but no success.


Please respond.

it could be hardware settings issue.
