Windows 2K Pro-Opening desktop

Can someone tell me why, when I first turn on my computer, "My Documents"
opens twice on the desktop. I haven't made any changes to anything and can't
find out how to correct this problem.

Anything in the Startup folder? (Start, Programs, Startup)

Thanks Bob, but the only thing in the startup folder is Microsoft office and
2 programs for the Palm Pilot.

This recently has been happening in XP but I don't know if the XP fix
will be the same for 2000. Or mayhaps someone else has an idea. Could
temporarily move the 2 Palm items out and see if behaviour changes.
