Windows 2003 Domain Controller

I personally wouldn't run *any* beta software on a server - especially a DC. If you must, use something tried and tested that you know to be safe - preferably a product which requires an absolute minimum of installation. For me the old Spybot/Adaware combination have been around long enough to be deemed safe - although they do still put dll's and other stuff on your machine.

Potential flamers please note - I am not anti-MS, but am strongly anti-beta when it comes to production servers… J

Can you run the antispyware on a domain controller???

I'm running it on a test 2003 DC, and it runs fine.
One thing though, there is an apparant false positive: it identifies tapicfg.exe as "CoolWebSearch".

The fact that you need to run an Anti-Spyware program on a Domain
Controller worries me. Servers (let alone DCs) should never be used for
web browsing!

Exactly what I was thinking. Must be a single machine setup and he is using
Server 2003 as his desktop.

I agree with your sentiments.

The beta is unsupported. The sole relief option, should the product cause
an issue with your system is to uninstall it, or, perhaps, use System
Restore.

It really should not be run on production machines, and especially servers.
Even if everything is functioning normally, the issue of growth of the
errors.log file may bite you.
