I am sending this message from a different PC, becuase
all of the sudden, my PC with Windows 2000 on it won't
complete the Windows 2000 setup cycle. So I'm stuck.

During power-up and with Windows 2000 lauching, the setup
process to Windows 2000 begins as a normal start, then
stops just after the Windows 2000 screen is displayed and
the blue bar along the bottom has sequenced across until
it is complete, then there is a blue screen for about 5
seconds, followed by the processor going down and
initializing a restart. This is now a continuous cycle,
Windows 2000 never gets fully launched, the PC keeps
going into a restart during powerup as described above.

I am not a programmer, or at all technical, I'm just
looking for some advice or some help on this issue if
possible. Thanks!

What did you install just previously? What drivers? Have you tried
starting Windows in Safe mode?
