windows 2000 startup issues

P

Pat Stewart

My computer over time has added several programs to the
startup which has caused the computer to slow
considerably. I am not aware of a step in Windows 2000
that allows you to select only the programs that you want
to be running each time the computer is started up.
Example.... In windows xp you can click start, run, and
type in msconfig and then select the programs that you
want to run. Is there a step with windows 2000 that also
will allow you to do the same thing?
Thank you for your help
