windows 2000 sp/3 installation

i downloaded windows 2000 service pack 3 to my desktop.
when i run the service pack installation i get an error
message that states: "a connection to the server could
not be establisehed". what should i do about this . the
error message sugests going to the website for a download
that does not require a online connection, but i can not
find this . what does this mean?

SP 3 is no longer available for download. Is there a reason you do not want
to install SP 4?
