windows 2000 set up password problem

I have just installed windows 2000 on my computer from a
CD rom over windows 98. When I rebooted, the computer
screen asked for a password in order to prceed, which I
don't have, and will accept no other commands, even after
shut down and reboot. What can I do to proceed with
installation or uninstall?

Having you tried the username of "administrator" with a blank password?
