I am running an Asus a7V133 Board with a Athlon XP 1700+
processor, Bios Rev. 1009.
Everytime I try to install an OS (any os) It gives various
messages like:
The file appwiz.cpl was not copied correctly.
The file Setup placed on your hard drive is not a valid
Windows 2000 system image....etc etc.
It also used to happen on various other files but this one
is the most common now.
I have done the following.
Changed The Harddrive (2x)
Changed IDE Cables (2x)
Changed Ram (3x)
Made sure I have the latest full release bios.
Changed Cd rom drive (2X)
Changed Media.
I don't know what else to do, I can't find anything in
technet, I think it might have something to do with the
configuration of CPU and Motherboard. I can't find
resources, Please help.
Thank you.
