win2k setup

hi,
today i reinstalled win2k and now when i boot up i go to a
dual boot selection window, one selection is my win2k that
works and is installed and the other is for win2k setup.
when i try the win2k setup it gives me an error that it
can't find a file and i have to restart.
i'm running an amd athlon 1700+ on an asus motherboard.
can someone help me?

Hi Aris,
I think I understand that you reinstalled Windows 2000, this installation is
working fine, but you have an additional entry in the boot menu that gives
you an error when you try to boot to it.

To remove the additional entry from the boot menu, you simply need to remove
the relevant entry from your boot.ini file, in the root of the system volume
(probably the C: drive). This is a hidden / system file, so you'll need both
hidden and system files showing to access boot.ini.

Remove the line from boot.ini which corresponds to Windows 2000 Setup, and
you won't see both options at boot any longer.

If I've misunderstood your question or concern, please reply to this post
with correction.
