Windows 2000, restart on \issas.exe with error 128

Hi, My daughter has w2k and her pc restarts when the
following error occurs (on attempting to login to the net)
The system process c:\winnt\system 32\isass.exe
terminated unxpectedly with status code 128. The system
will now shut down and restart.

Any ideas what the problem is?
