Windows 2000 Professional Stuck in Boot Loop

Hi,

After running a disk cleanup utility that requires
rebooting to complete its function, Windows 2000
Professional is stuck in an endless boot / reboot cycle.
Safe mode in any category does not run.

Any suggestions as to how I can breakout of the loop and
complete loading the OS are greatly appreciated.

try a repair install from the 2000 CD?
