looking for any ideas that might help out...
i'm trying to troubleshoot a user who recently upgraded
from ME to 2000 on a FAT32 partition. now, whenever the
machine is booted, it says the disk needs to be checked
for consistancy... ok. let it check. it finishes
happily, and instead of continuing to load windows, the
machine reboots. it comes back to the disk checking
stage. the machine is stuck in this loop. if you skip
disk checking, it goes straight to reboot. safe mode,
step by step, etc. all load disk checking and reboot.
any ideas out there why this might be happening?
i appreciate it.
