Windows 2000 Professional SP4 Driver Support for External Hard Dis

I would like to use a USB 2 external hard disk drive with my offices
computers without having to load additional drivers. We use Win 2000 Pro
SP4. How large a USB hard drive will the drivers included with Win 2000 Pro
SP4 support?

Thanks,

As large a drive as your external enclosure will support.
Actually ... there's no limit that I know of. Win2K will support as large a
drive as is manufactured today.
If there is a limitation, its probably in the thousands of terabytes ...
maybe more.

Thanks for the prompt answer. The reason I asked this question is that I had
read a user review of the Maxtor One Touch II external drive where the user
complained about having to load Maxtor drivers because Windows XP wouldn't
support an external drive over 250 Gig with the plug and play drivers in the
XP OS.
