windows 2000 professional/ repair or update?

To Whomever can help.
I've talked to my ISP about iexplore.exe problem and
was referred to this group. They suggest that I have
Microsoft 2000 repaired or updated. Please help.
 
With your vague question you don't seriously expect to get an answer? You
have to be more specific or your ISP has to be more helpful.
 
repair : boot from CD and run repair command

update : download and install latest service pack - with the
number of issues that appear and are discussed here SP3 may
be the best bet
