I attempt to find the windows 2000 category but i didn't see it under older
versions of windows. However, here is the problem I am experiencing....

When I logon to the system, I get a message that says " Microsoft Visual Ctt
Runtime Library..

Runtime Error! Program:C:\winnt\explorer.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusal way.
Please contact the applications support team for mor information

What happens if you logon as a new user? (create a new account in 'User and
Passwords'). Try a Safe Mode boot. Also try a clean boot.

Clean boot = no non-microsoft services at startup, no third party apps at
startup.

Dave,

I am logging on as Administrator... also when I click on "OK" on the runtime
error screen, I lose my desktop, then I have to reboot the computer, so
therefore I can't do anything once I click on OK. Please advise

Try a 'Safe Mode' boot. Also these articles may help.
